Last night saw the continuation of season three of USA’s medical dramedy “Royal Pains,” following a mid-winter hiatus. The show’s protagonist, played by Mark Feuerstein, is a doctor who, according to the network, “after being wrongly blamed for an important patient’s death, moves to the Hamptons and becomes a reluctant ‘doctor for hire’ to the rich and famous.”
The show is filmed throughout Long Island and the Hamptons, attracts an audience of 7.2 million (the network’s highest-rated series), and has already been renewed for a fourth season. Pictured above is actor Paulo Costanzo as Evan, the doctor’s younger brother, an accountant “who dreams of living more lavishly than his means will allow.”
Don’t we all.
“Royal Pains” airs Wednesdays at 10 pm.
