Trump as “People’s Champ”

Tonight, under well-guarded and extremely tight security, President-elect Donald Trump returned as the "people's champ" to New York's fabled Madison Square Garden for the UFC 309 event. He was joined by his son, Don Jr., his newly appointed "Secretary of Government Efficiency", Elon Musk, plus Robert F. Kennedy Jr. - Trump's nominee to become the chief of Health and Human Services.

The President-elect was greeted by a thunderous ovation from the sold-out crowd, most of whom broke into spontaneous cries of "USA! USA!". Also accompanying the once and future President were House Speaker Mike Johnson, the UFC's Dana White and Kid Rock., whom Trump embraced at ringside.  Playing on the Garden's jumbotron was a loop of Trump campaign clips, including the now

But perhaps the most revered person at MSG tonight was UFC host and podcaster, Joe Rogan, whom Trump immediately sought out upon entering the arena. Trump spent several minutes shaking hands and joking with Rogan, whose loyal and gigantic non-legacy audience certainly played their own significant role in the election just ended.  “USA” indeed!
